Culture from the east

Who we are

The Brown Brew is rooted in India’s rich tea culture, bringing authentic chai blends to modern rituals around the world.

We carefully source and craft our teas to preserve the depth, aroma, and character that make chai more than just a drink — a daily tradition.

Alongside tea, we are currently building direct connections with coffee farmers in India, working toward a sourcing model that stays closer to origin and supports the communities behind every bean.

Spices are the vocabulary of the kitchen; blending is the poetry.

Our blenders

The Brown Brew works with experienced tea blenders in India who have mastered the craft of creating perfectly balanced spiced blends. Our teas are sourced from Assam, made with 100% natural ingredients, and grown from non-GMO seeds — with no artificial flavours or additives.

The Brewing Ritual

True Indian chai isn't just steeped—it’s crafted. We’ve broken down our signature brewing techniques to help you extract the perfect balance of bold Assam tea, frothy milk, and vibrant spices. Dive into our guides and videos below to master the perfect cup.
